At Beckfoot Hazelbeck we value and encourage engagement with the creative arts. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of opportunities to students to engage in art, drama and dance, allowing them to showcase their talent, skills and hard work to their peers, families and staff.
Arts Week
This years annual Arts Week 2025 focused on patterns and rhythm. The activities that were organised by each class were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in school. As usual the staff teams within each class did some ‘Out of the box’ thinking and prepared the most engaging activities to support students to access the theme within their own individual learning style.
This years activities included making some some rhythmical music supported by Martin Henderson, ‘The Plumber Drummer’, Bring me Sunshine string and percussion trio, and creating patterns with paint.
